In the working world, people exercise favoritism. But is it justifiable for such favoritism to be displayed in a church setting? I understand that Jesus had his own favourite disciples. But are leaders "allowed" to do that as well? "Favor" we call that. But isn't it unfair to weigh one person more than another? To care about one's feelings more than another? To try to please one's feelings at the expense of another? To compromise even when you disagree with that person? To be so afraid to correct and hurt that person while there are others who might be hurting as well? To me, it seems unfair. Cos what about the rest? Aren't we all human?

Impartiality is impossible?
