After a run around the reservoir, i sat on a bench, looked up at the sky and saw a bright flickering star. The possibility of that star being a satellite disturbed my admiration of that star.

In God's eyes, everyone IS a star. We are all given gifts and talents (whether it's BIG or small) that cannot be removed from us.

But knowing that, what do we see ourselves as? a star/ a satellite? It's sad to know that people choose to believe that they're satellites; defined by life experiences and 'uses'. Indeed, experiences make us grow. But instead of being a 'man-made device', why can't we believe that we are stars? A divine creation that's meant for greatness. Why degrade ourselves from being a natural star to a person defined by the circumstances he'd been though? perhaps, wise decisions can make one go far, but can they bring you to your intended route in life?

in the end, i chose to believe that it's a star.
